Questo disegno è qualcosa di differente rispetto agli altri. Il suo sorgente pesa ben 72 Mb ed è stato realizzato su un iPad. Esatto! Dopo un lungo periodo in cui ho sostenuto che, a me, un tablet non serviva, eccomi possessore di un iPad di quarta generazione. L'acquisto di questo apparecchio (venduto sottocosto all'Ipercoop sotto casa) è legato a una ambizione/follia/illusione che alcuni amici, ma anche i miei genitori, hanno alimentato nei miei confronti; ovvero: perché non presentare i miei lavori a una galleria d'arte?
Ecco... per ora sto raccogliendo informazioni, mandando mail, ma avevo bisogno di un dispositivo che mi avrebbe permesso di mostrare i miei lavori ai galleristi quando avrei intrapreso la mia transumanza da una galleria all'altra. Va be', ora c'ho pure questa fissa, e quindi mi son preso l'iPad. I motivi per cui ho scelto il tablet di Apple piuttosto che un analogo Android, o il nuovissimo Surface... li lascio in sospeso per i post futuri... perché qui voglio parlare del disegno che state osservando qui a lato, e realizzato direttamente sul retina display del mio gioiellino.
Oddio... in realtà ho già detto tutto. La versione che vedete è stata limata in megapixel per evitare di trascorrere la notte a fare l'upload su flickr. Se siete interessati a quella in piena risoluzione... be' dovete solo attendere che trovi un mecenate, un gallerista, e che vi inviti alla mia prima personale.

Nota a Margine: Sto compiendo i miei primissimi passi nel mondo dell'arte figurativa e già ho scoperto che anche qui ci sono gallerie a pagamento, e gallerie che investono sull'artista. Tutto il mondo è paese.

This work is something different than the other I've published on this blog. Its source file weighs 72 Mb and it was made entirely on an iPad Exactly! After a long period in which I argued that a tablet is not needed to me, I got one. The purchase of this unit (sold below cost in the Ipercoop Mall downstairs) is associated with an ambition / madness / illusion that some friends, but also my parents, fed to me: why not submit my artworks to a art gallery?
Well... For now I'm just gathering information and sending mail, but I was in need to have a device that would allow me to show my artworks to the gallerists when I began my transhumance from one art gallery to another. The reasons why I chose the Apple tablet rather than a comparable Android, or the new Microsoft Surface are not important now... I leave them on hold for future posts ... because here I want to talk about the image you're looking up here, and made directly on the retina display of my gem.
Oh... I actually said it all. The version that you see has been cut in megapixels to avoid spending the entire night in the upload on flickr. If you are interested in the full resolution artwork... Well, you just have to wait until I find a patron, a gallery owner, and will invite you to my first solo showroom.

Margin Note: I'm making my first steps in the world of figurative art and already I have found that even here there are galleries for a fee, and galleries that invest on the artist. All the world is the same village.
